I am planning on buying a cyclo DS soon and I have some questions to ask>

1. Where is the best place to buy one that has them in stock or getting them soon at a good price?

2. Will this Card (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820134478) work well? ( if there is a card cheaper somewhere please tell me)

3. Is the micro sd card reader that comes with cyclo really that bad I have heard it is terrible.

I guess thats all.

I'd recommend getting the MicroSD from http://www.dz-tech.com/
I got mine there, and they stock the fast Japanese ones.

I'd also recommend getting a 512MB or 1GB as well, just in case the 2GB may have some freezing with a problem game like CastleVania: Portrait of Ruin - I got some 2GB cards which had freezing when I paused and unpaused over and over, but when I tried the Nokia 1GB Made in Japan, it fixed the problem - I still have some slowdown in big games like the Final Fantasy III world map though..

Newegg is my favorite site for computer hardware including flash memory. They have a generous return/rma policy and support, just like team cyclops!:)

Thanks! so you think I should buy this one? (http://www.dz-tech.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=65_74&products_id=631)

That's a Japan model, so it's the best 2GB you can get..
However, some games might still freeze and have slowdown, even though it's the best...
I'd recommend, if you plan on getting a 2GB, you may as well get the 512MB card as well, for problem games, to make sure you can play everything without freezing / slowdown...

They do work, but require a fast microsd (like a Japan made 1GB, or at worst case if you get a bad one, a 512MB)..
With a fast microsd, CastleVania: Portrait of Ruin will never freeze, and some big games, like Final Fantasy III's world map won't slow-down as much as a slower microSD.. that's all....

What type of video format can moonshell play?

DPG - it's the DS version of MPG.

There are different programs to make them, for example BatchDPG and DPGTools.. from my experience, I prefer using DPGTools - it takes much longer, but the videos come out with a better quality.. you can get DPGTools with MoonShell 1.6 for CycloDS in the Support section:

I just want to say that I never notice any slowdown in FFIII with a 2gb Japanese Kingston µSD...
Sometimes it seems to be some ones in Animal Crossing, when loading at title screen.

but how can i use it???

With MoonShell, which can be downloaded from the support page too..

BTW, are there any other video players besides MoonShell that are any good?

Whew good thing I read your post, you helped me save a little 10 dollars on the Evo on mod-chip.com. Thanks!

At first I couldn't find the Price Guarantee section, turns out it's on the Button/Gif Animation is on the bottom right of the screen on the homepage.
