I don't use IE, but yeah. These results are even more proof that I'm -never- going to use IE.

I use firefox but i dont like the search system(where you write the url and it searches for a website with that words) in firefox3, IE sucks

Haven't switched tried out Firefox 3 yet. I'm waiting until my extensions on FF2 are supported.

You can use MR Tech. It allows you to force comptability. I'm using 19 extensions, and they all work perfectly.

I use internet browsers for the internet...

So I really can't tell a difference beetween FireFox 2, Firefox 3, IE7, or IE8...

They do what I need them for.

Firefox has the download manager I like, and IE doesnt ****up the flash installer like firefox does on me...

For me, they're both equals in use, both suck at times, and I don't have a preference to either one.

I think it's due to that thread involving raising post count. :P Also, running IE would require me to jump through hoops. I don't believe they ever released a Linux binary for it and I'd have to nab a copy for WINE. Totally not my cup of tea. Far as I'm concerned, if a website has issues with Firefox, I'll refuse to use it.

Really? That isn't possible. Every post we're making is completely necessary.

Its all about Opera. Opera 8 was great, 9 (the current one) isnt as great, but maintains all the customizability of the interface (my #1 selling point). Opera 10 is looking good, they have a beta that hits 100 on acid3, just needing performance tweaking to get the animation smooth.

I still switch over to FF or IE for that occasional trouble site though.

Opera has an entirely different design philosophy than Firefox.. given that I like them both for different reasons. During early firefox days I preferred Opera at times. I like how I'm sold by one or the other from time to time as development continues. Competition brings better software. : )

IE Tab extension for the occasional trouble site. Usually .edu sites and stupid Japanese/Korean ones that still cling onto IE support...
