We've released firmware v1.56 FINAL over at the main
website. Changes since v1.56B7 include:
- Fixes for Petz games (hang on first boot, wifi settings)
- Fixed enhanced mode for some games (4472, 4622 and others)
- Experimental fix for FF3
- Fixed "Ice Peak" bug (4262, 4280, 4447, 4513)
- Fixed regression with Pokemon Wii connection
Regarding all the other issues reported in this thread including the 3in1+ and other compatibility issues, they have all been added to our TODO list and we'll be starting another line of BETA's soon to tackle these bugs.

TC: If I understand your question correctly, its better to have a few consolidated posts on the first page of each BETA thread which keep track of any reported issues. This helps us to save time and avoid missing things.

Can you make a list of things you deem "unfixable" as im sure there are some game features out there that just cant be fixed.
TC: We don't deem any problem reported so far as unfixable - its just that our time is always limited and its a matter of prioritising things. Any problem reported persistently will be fixed eventually.
Do you wish for people to send game saves at current bug points as you stated "we have not reached this point to duplicate" which leaves me to believe you have to manually play each game, im sure thats a pain.
TC: YES  When reporting problems it is increadibly helpful if you can attach a save and provide instructions for exactly how to reproduce the problem (unless the problem occurs before the point in which you can save, ie at or before the title screen).
can we get email notification fixed on this forum? maybe i messed something up but i only get responses to PM's
TC: We're aware of several problems with the forum including email notifications and the broken search function, and hope to get these issues resolved sometime soon. |

Both news posts and the BETA builds themselves are fine to distribute providing the disclaimer is kept intact.

Nope, this is incorrect. As stated previously, the game executable itself is only setup to work with 512kb maximum. As
Kazo stated, its actually an alternating system of 256kb blocks.
