Default Multiplayer desyncs while using battery saver mode

Me and my friend were playing on Sega Super Star Tennis (EUR region). I was using the CycloDS and he had the retail cartridge. While battery saver mode was turned on there were desync issues but turning it off stopped the desyncs from happening.

Two, read/write less frequently but in larger chunk of data at one time to save battery, but when data needed only then quickly read from sd, which explain why it's slower because of lack of frequent reading. Two, cyclo run at 22Mhz(just an example) in battery saver mode but at max 33Mhz without battery saver mode. The game needs 28Mhz when multiplayer activated, now that explains another possibility of desync and slowdown. Refer here: for my further explaination but I may be wrong though since it's just my noobie guess.
