Default A 3DS cost how much in Australia?
To the members here from the land down under...

Is this right? That a Nintendo 3DS costs $345 Australian Dollars? Online Google convertors give $370 USD? OMG!!!! USA price is $250 USD. I know there are different tariffs and all...but come on....dang.

You're having it easy. In Finland for example, the 3DS goes from 289€, which equals roughly about $419,70. But all in all, it seems that Australia is in quite a bad situation regarding the 3DS, since the console + games cost quite a bit more than anywhere else (yet again), so the article may be true.

Ah yes, back to the point in question...It amazes me how economics work around the world and how prices differ more than just supply and demand, more than just shipping it there, more than tariffs...WAIT...it is all those things. LOL.

$400 for a set with one game + 1 year warranty in my country. HA everything is pricy for importing.

€ 249,99 here with a 2GB SD card and 1 year warranty (the netherlands).
(no game)

Thailand. And Sony Thai have yet imported PSP. Also no actual retailer for Nintendo either. Just 1 company deal with 3DS, the DSL, DSi or Wii will be from local game shops importing themselves.
