cheats do not stay enabled in CycloDS Evolution BETA Firmware vB.0, vB.1, and vB.2

Hi,
when i try to use cheats they do not stay enabled after I have selected them.

they do sometimes stay enabled, which is weird.

This problem happens in CycloDS Evolution BETA Firmware vB.0, vB.1, and vB.2
this seems to happen to all of the games that i have.

Can anyone else verify this?

also if they are already enabled they stay enabled, whether or not i try to turn them on or off.

I only loaded the Beta v2 and so far I have been able to use the old cheat mode venue and the cheats I selected have stayed selected even with powering down.

The only real bug I keep seeing is once I select cheats I cannot cancel the selection and go back to the main game menu. I reported that in another post that somebody else also observed.

Confirmed, but let me clarify.

If browsed for the games within the directories, they function fine. However, the ones that are bookmarked to main menu won't boot the cheats.

I have bookmarked games showing up on the main menu.....cheats are working for me just fine. I only had to set them once.

Cheats are working perfectly for me on vB.2. Tried combinations of enabling/disabling cheats, powering off, selecting the game from the file browser and from the main menu bookmarks.

If it took that much to enable cheats for bookmarked games, then there still are bugs to work out. Mine too were enabled in the directories, just the bookmarks didn't want to run them even after I enabled cheats.

My request, and since now the option to revert to Old Method of Enabling Cheat returned; that mode should also apply to the bookmarked games too.


EDIT: Ah, alright, this is what happened. I should of guessed it from the start. Cheats not running from bookmarked games is a result of having the Old Cheat Prompt on. As a test, I turned off Old Prompt, ran the game with cheats through directories. Tested, cheats work. Then I played the same game, but this time, through the bookmarks on the Main Menu, and they ran fine too.

Kinda sucks that Old Cheat Prompt (I think) disables cheat usage for bookmarked games.

Sometimes its on, sometimes its disabled even when I selected it.

i haven't had any issues with cheats so far with B.2 but i have had this problem previously. turned out to be a currupted cheat file. try moving your original cheat file from your computer back onto the SD card

I have been having trouble with cheats as well.

the cheats that are in folders, doesn't stay enable
but those that aren't in folders stay enables

its weird since it only does not work for the beta, but works on the last stable version
