This is the only question that's stopping me from preordering one right now. My DS is already flashed, will download play work from my flashed DS to an unflashed one?

You can unflash it

I know I can, but it's more dangerous than flashing it because you lose the recovery code. Is it necessary for the host DS to be unmodified for download play to work to unflashed DSes? I may go ahead and unflash it, but I'd rather avoid doing that if I can.
Oh and to stay on the topic of asking to test games, could you please test Panel de Pon? rargh it's so good and I would love to destroy random people I find who happen to have their ds! Last edited by PickleHead; 23rd May 2007 at 01:04 AM. |

It does not matter if the host DS is modified or not. CycloDS Evolution supports download play with all combinations of flashed/unflashed DS'es.

Thank you for the confirmation on that, I got mine preordered! I hope it lives up to the hype. I'm sick of my old M3 CF sticking 3 feet out of my DS.

Just do a little looking on this thread and you'll find this link:
http://wiki.scorpei.com/index.php/Cy...atibility_list So, yes, it does appear to work. |
