Default New Problems

Well now I got a new problem with my Evo. Went to go play it just now and I got a black screen thats the recovery mode. It kept on telling me to hit A to go to the MicroSD card and I did, and it looked for the firmware update and found none. So I put 1.22 on the MicroSD card now and turned it on, got the recovery mode again and I hit A. It found it and now it boots to the Evo and says WARNING: Self Test Failed! Soooooooo any ideas on how to get it working again? Any info from TC would be nice.

Black screen:

CycloDS Evolution Recovery Mode
HW ver: 1.0 - HW egon: 1

*******

ERROR: Self-tests failed
Press A to load from MicroSD

So I hit A and I get

Loding 'update.evo'

verifying integrity...

then it brings me to the Evo logo on the top screen and the bottom screen says CycloDS Evolution Updater
with a big box that says...

ERROR: Self Test failed!
Press A to power off your NDS.

Try redownloading the firmware, or use one on your hard disk that you know works..
If that doesn't help, then you may be out of luck with a defective unit. See the sticky threads in the bugs section for a solution:

Got the same problem

The solution I had for a while was to let it rest for a few min and then try again.

Finally i sent it back to the support team.

This problem has been encountered before and reported.
Check the Bug Report section for details on this problem.
I think some people resolved it in a different way then "reinserting" the card.

But if that works, thats fine too.
