North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District’s RecMobile brings fitness and educational activities to children at parks across North Clackamas County. Cyclops teamed with NCPRD to help them concept, illustrate and design a full-vehicle wrap to celebrate the region’s flora and fauna, and motivate engagement from children all summer long.

NCPRD is dedicated to promoting healthy, fun activity and fostering connections to nature and community. To meld all aspects of their mission, and to create an alluring, exciting design that would resonate with children, we designed and illustrated a mural depicting children and (local) anthropomorphic animals partaking in a variety of activities offered by the RecMobile and NCPRD in general. Framing the scene are fronds of endemic maidenhair ferns, which can be found in parks and natural areas throughout the county.

This whimsical and vibrant new RecMobile can now be spotted all summer long, pulling into parks throughout North Clackamas County to bring fun, healthy activities and educational games to kids of all ages and abilities.

NCPRD further engaged Cyclops to carry on the motif created for the RecMobile to design vehicle wraps for their fleet of official vehicles. The resulting design takes a more adult-oriented approach while maintaining cohesion with the fun and colorful RecMobile design.
