Your Cyclops creative leadership is also the creative team behind Hazy Dell Press: an independent publishing company committed to creating imaginative, thoughtful and irreverent books that resonate with clever humans of any age. 

We funded the first print of our first book, Monster ABC, with a successful Kickstarter campaign backed by hundreds of supporters. Since then, we’ve published several more books under our Hazy Dell Press imprint including Goodnight Krampus, Get Dressed, Sasquatch!, Hush Now, Banshee! and the forthcoming Don’t Eat Me, Chupacabra! (¡No Me Comas, Chupacabra!). Each book, poster or print we release honors the founding spirit of our publishing company: We create products that we would have loved to read as children as much as we love reading them now.

The vast majority of alphabet books are rote and perfunctory with very little imagination or whimsy. When A is for Apple, you know that B is for Boredom, C is for Cursory and D is for Dull. Monster ABC, on the other hand, offers parents an alphabet book that packs as much entertainment value for them as it does for their children.

An homage to our favorite Rankin/Bass stop-motion holiday specials, Goodnight Krampus reimagines the Bavarian anti-Santa, Krampus, as a gently mischievous youngster who’s too excited to sleep on Christmas Eve. And, obviously, narwhals are involved.

As the unofficial mascot of our home region, it was a matter of time before we gave Sasquatch his own title. Our hairy, large-footed friend is relaxing in his natural habitat when a rule-touting ranger kicks off our narrative by politely asking him to put some clothes on. You better believe there’s a fashion montage at some point.

The world’s first ever counting book featuring a Banshee learning the virtues of quiet time, Hush Now, Banshee! follows our titular heroine across the Irish countryside as she searches for anyone ready to have some not-so-quiet fun.
